PC is not working after CPU upgrade
I have been using an Intel i7-2600 in my HP Pavilion H8-1250, and I recently decided to upgrade CPU. The motherboard in my PC is an HP Formosa, and I checked which CPUs it was compatible with before purchasing. I decided to upgrade to Intel i7-3770k.
After installing the new processor, I start up the PC, and nothing appears on the screen. All fans, including one in GPU, turn on and work. After about 5-10 seconds, it will turn off again, then back on, and off again.
I checked the HP website and found instructions on how to reset CMOS. I followed instructions and after I started PC nothing happened. Again PC turn on and after 5-10 seconds off. After that, I removed the lithium battery and moved jumpers to reset positions, waited several hours and put the battery back and jumpers back. Turned on and PC started and after 10 seconds turned off, and on again, same as before. Nothing appears on the screen. Is there anything else I can try to fix this problem?
