PC is overheating.

Hello guys I have a problem with my cpu or my pc i should say. The problem is that my cpu is running at 90-100 even sometimes at 120 degrees and that's even when im not playing. I have put my right side of the case away (not the left one because that's where i have the fan) because it was very hot and the back of the motherboard is getting very very hot as well. I applied some thermal paste on it and nothing changes. I have the problem for about a week now and nothing changes. My cpu cooler is getting so hot as well that I couldnt get it off the cpu. Please give me some advice guys or at least tell me what to do I will be very thankful have a nice day.
My cpu: AMD A8 6600k 3.9ghz

Where are you getting those temp numbers from? 120C is past the throttle point for that CPU. It should shut down before that.
Check the thermal margin using AMD Overdrive. TM will read opposite to core temp. The higher the TM, the lower the temp. http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/technologies-gaming/over-drive
