Hello ! My pc is shutting down and i dont know the reason, and after few seconds its making a weird sound , its the fans i think but not sure. Might be the power supply not strong enough or idk? !..
The specs are :
CPU : intel core i5-4460, 3.2GHz. Haswell,6MB,socket 1150
motherboard: Asys Z97-K, socket 1150
ram: kingston hyperX beast 8gb (2x4)
GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 290 TRI-X, 4096MB,GDDR5,512bit
Power Supply : Thermalake litepower 600w.

I have this pc for about 6months and only started doing this 2-3 weeks ago.

I dont know , first it was shutting down while i was playing some games on high load but now it shuts down even if im just on facebook or youtube only with pc being cold .

Since the issue is not resolved, I uselected the solution. It could be the PSU, the GPU or the motherboard. If it shuts down when cold, the first step should be to remove the GPU and use the Intel Graphics on the motherboard. Then check if it still occurs when the PC is cold; if it does, then you know the GPU is fine and the PSU most likely is bad. If it works fine, that doesn't prove the GPU is bad; you'll need to test with a good quality PSU.
