Hello, I have recently ordered a preowned i7 4790 CPU along with a new Coolmaster CPU cooler. Recently upgraded from the i5 4440
CURRENT SPECS:
Is it possible that my motherboard does not support i7 processors? It's an LG A1150 so I don't see why it shouldn't work. I tried to find a BIOS update on the acer website that supports my BIOS version of P21.A4 (12/09/2014) but I couldn't find any updates for it unfortunately.
I am quite annoyed as everything worked perfectly before adding the new CPU in and was hoping it would improve PC performance but it has not. I've also correctly installed the CPU.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
