Hey guys. 1 month ago my PC freezes, after I turn the PSU off and then on, the PC is turning on but is not giving signal to monitor. Before the freeze when I turned the PC on, I could "feel" the PC how is booting, but now is just turning on.
I changed the PSU and the motherboard(the old MB had a bent pin at socket), I tried without the GPU, with one RAM (I have 2 RAMS, one of them is bought recently). So the last thing could the CPU. So I decided to send the CPU in warranty. But can the CPU cause the freezes?
I mean first time my pc freezes browsing on google, I restarted, worked, and second time when the PC freezes, after the "PSU restart" , my PC wasn't giving signal. Can be the CPU? The Temp was normal.
I tried all the ways to fix it. But none of them worked:
Unplug PSU , hold the power button
Unplug the BIOS battery.
and more, but I can't remember them.
So, could be the bent pin the cause that make my CPU bad? I mean I used the PC for one year without having a problem (with the bent pint).
Can a bad CPU freeze a PC? Even if the temps was good.
