PC isn't turning on, and it isn't the power supply.

Hey,

While I was using my PC, it just died and won't turn on. I've tested the PSU (a Corsair HX850 professional) with a paperclip and a case fan plugged in, and they both worked. I'm pretty sure that it isn't the problem but maybe there is something that I don't know. I am about to start testing the other components individually now. If anyone has any idea as to what the problem could be, I'd be so grateful. Thanks for reading.

from the information given it sounds like you'll have to test the parts individually but i'd start with the motherboard. Also, is there any chance of overheating?
