Question Pc isn't working after new upgrades

I recently just upgraded my pc with a new i7 8700k and z370dp and all the light, fans and everything looks like it's working but when I connect to the hdmi cable to both the GPU and mother board the monitor stays black. I've tried different hdmi cables and different monitors but I can't tell what's wrong . Any hel is much appreciated
