Hi Guys, I have been having intermittent issues with my pc for almost 9 months now and am almost of idea for how to try fix it. Essentially the issue is that at random the computer will completely freeze, the picture will remain the same on the monitor it just stops responding. I have reported the issue multiple times to my parts supplier, also supplying video showing the issue (link below) and have replaced some component (psu, motherboard & gpu) within the pc and had almost all of it tested. It does not happen very often but I use this pc for rendering so I cant afford instability. Any suggestions for what to do would be much appreciated.

Solution

Yes with this set you do,it can run lower cas latency of 13 when now it runs at 15,also the fourth nr (TRas) is higher than rated, could be 28 instead of 36, don't even know what that will do for other timings like secondary etc ...

Might want to give some parts,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons
also what psu=maker/model/wattage.

Ram came from one kit? At least enable XMP in the bios/uefi to make it run at rated specs.

Other thing i thought of is the storage. What does the Samsung tool say about the drive?
For the Seagate disc do they have their own tool to check it out, just downlaod from their site and run,see if that gives something.

Ram came as one kit, do i need to enable xmp if it is a 2133 kit? havnt checked the drives yet because i didnt think that could cause the issue, happens with multiple applications but usually games so i thought if it was the drives itd be confined to a small number of programs
