pc jacks stopping tv volume

Ok so here's the problem, bare in mind only a few weeks old gaming PC
headset (astro a40's) work fine with pink and green jacks on pc until last night if i removed headset from jacks audio would then play out of the tv (this is the goal) now i get silence from both my tv and separate monitor but the headset still works when plugged in..

need help please

That's because your using the speaker jacks instead of the headphones jack. It thinks you've removed the speakers so it cuts the sound off

so how do i change this back as i only have one set of pink and green jacks and same for my headphones ??

Use the headphone jack on the front of your case.
