A few days ago I installed a new cpu and ram. Everything went smooth for the most part except I had no audio drivers. All my audio peripherals worked besides my speakers so I figured it was the Realtek audio drivers. So I installed the latest ones from my mobo website, ran setup wizard and installed them. But it didn't actually seem to install them. So I said whatever for the time being and used my USB headset.
Tonight I was searching forums and saw a couple posts saying I could go to device mng/ sound and install legacy hardware. So I did that. I chose the older option it gave me and installed legacy hardware, then before rebooting I installed the current Realtek drivers. Then reboot. Now I just blue screen right when windows comes up. I restored from a point where I originally installed the audio drivers from a few days ago. Still blue screens. Safe mode isn't any different. As of this moment I'm running windows memory diagnostic tool for whatever good that might do. Help I think I bricked my pc.
