I have been having this PC(Built) for the past 3 years Recently its Power supply Busted and i had to change it....ever since i have been receiving Bsod's Of different Kinds At first i thought it was the power supply because i used to have 600w psu and i had to replace it with a 400w psu
The Bsod usually appeared when i played games and i figured that it must have something to do with the graphics....so to get a fresh start I Formatted The PC,Installed latest drivers, I still got Bsod's But the difference was, it wasnt pointing out to my graphic anymore....i ran Windows memory diagnostics and it said there was no issues with my ram,I Cleaned My Processor and Graphics Fans and then replaced The Thermal Paste...Still no improvement....
BTW my last Dump was in Memory.dmp I dont know what that means (I am a noob)

My Rig:-
Win 7 64Bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
Ram :- 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 332 mhz
Motherboard :- Asus P5Q Se (LGA775)
Graphics :- Nvidia GTX 460 2GB (Zotac)
Storage:- Seagate Barracuda 465GB

Dump Files:- http://

I Took It to a technician And suggested that The Psu wattage was not enough.....He said that 400w was more than Enough....Guess He was Lying...
I can Barely afford a new PSU...so i need to be sure that This will solve my issue...Or i am stuck with this BSOD For a Long Time

400 watts may be nearly enough if you had an extremely high end PSU which can actually deliver 400 watts. Also beware of technicians like these, I've had my share of them and the skill they are best at is making you think they know what they're doing when they are actually talking out of their rear end 😉

Then go for the cheaper version, just make sure it's at least 80+ bronze certified. Cheers!

Please make sure you update and download all your drivers http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5Q_SE/HelpDesk_Download/ including any BIOS update (the updater is under BIOS-utilities). Then go to the BIOS and load all defaults. Then get back to us.
This may get you a bit better stability, but you still desperately need a new PSU, and 60 bucks isn't much of a difference from the 20 bucks you spent on the other one.
