Hi all, having real trouble lately as when I play high performanced games such as fortnite apex legends, COD: MW etc. on the lowest possible graphics settings my PC will just crash and then instantly restart! Its getting super annoying.

I have checked all my drivers and they are all up to date and I have also checked event viewer which is showing Error Code 41 (basically meaning the computer shut down unclean).

I have also noticed that right before the game causes the crash that both the CPU and GPU are running at approx. 100% in task manager. The temperature of the CPU is no more than 55 Celsius (unsure about the GPU)

My computers specs are below:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Basic Corsair CPU cooler fan
AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series
HyperX Fury (4GB x4) DDR3
MSI Gaming 3 Motherboard
Samsung EVO 250GB SSD
WD 1TB HDD
Corsair VS550 watt PSU

I also have 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, CD/DVD drive plus 2 case fans plugged into the motherboard.

Is it possible that the PSU is done as it is 3 years old currently and just about covers the require wattage to run these components?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I've never heard of an SV550? Is this an exclusive series to the country you're in?

Before we assume it's the PSU, let's make sure "automatically restart" is unchecked:

Currently Kingston lists no HyperX Fury (8GB x4) DDR3 product. Perhaps, you could list a part number and/or link to the memory.

https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/fury-ddr3 i have 4 sticks at 4GB each currently in my system
Also got the PSU wrong. It is a Corsair VS550 (I know I am an idiot)
"automatically restart" was also not unchecked.
