Question PC KEEPS CRASHING IN GAME MENU!!!!

Hello everyone. I have strange crash on my PC idk where to post question anymore... So the thing is I play PUBG and EAFC (thats what I have installed) and when I am in PUBG lobby for about 30 seconds my screen just freeze and I cant do actually anything, there is nothing that I can do. I need to shut down my computer on case button. Same is whit EAFC, but on EAFC if I stay for about 2-3 minutes on menu without doing anything then same thing happens. When I am in game, they dont crash at all, screen doesnt freeze. Only in menu or lobby. So I tried (i think) everything: reinstalling windows, reinstalling games, downloading drivers (graphics, motherboard,...), reinstalling vc runtimes and at the end I changed my RAM and bought 2x8GB Kingston Fury 3200 MHz. With that RAM I have GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 3600 and Samsung 500 GB SSD. If there is anything to do please reply, I'm losing my mind.

What is the make and model of your PSU and how old is it?

Sorry for late reply. Its I-Arena series Chieftec 500 w, old about 3 years

That's a pretty "low tier" poor quality PSU model from Chieftec. Definitely not meant to used on any gaming PC. Please get a high quality power supply for your PC.

But here comes my confusion/doubt.

As per your observation, the game ONLY crashes/freezes while in Lobby, and/or game menu, and not when you are gaming ? So if this PSU was indeed the culprit here, then the game should be crashing elsewhere as well.

But in any case, we can't deny that this PSU model is a low cheap quality unit. I would actually not recommend continue using this to power up your gaming PC, regardless of whether it works or not.

Start with changing that out for a much better quality make/model. That PSU-shaped object might be okay for a doorstop, but not a gaming PC with a GPU that requires PCIe externally connected power.
