Question Pc Keeps crashing my internet

Hey guys, I am having a extremely frustrating and concerning issue. My internet always seems to run fine until I turn on my pc. About 5 minutes after turning on my pc my internet crashes. My internet only crashes when I turn on my pc. I read that it could be a hardware issue. I am praying it is not a hardware issue because I just spent 2500$ on a new gaming pc a couple months back. I have tried updating my network drivers and it did not seem to help. Also, these are my specs, intel i7 8700k, rtx 2080, and a rog Maximus XI hero motherboard. All feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

How old is your router some routers when they had a lot of diffrent devices for few years they just crash when someone connects for me i had a router when you connect to wifi, wifi crashes but ethernet works
