Recently my laptop has been crashing after starting a game. It doesn't immediately crash, it takes about 5 minutes and then the screen goes blank.
I know it's not a problem with just the screen because the sound stops as well.
It is not restricted to a single game, it has happened with assassin's creed, civilization, GTA and NFS. At this point nothing works.
I have to switch the laptop off (long press the power button) and then switch it on. Everything that was opened before is also closed now.
I am using Lenovo Ideapad 520, Intel i7 8550U 8th gen, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, 8GB DRR4 RAM on Windows 10. I have not made any changes to hardware.
Any help with the problem is appreciated. Thanks.
