PC Keeps crashing

I recently built a new PC per advice from a friend. These are the specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qfxdYJ
after a while of playing games, the PC just freezes and crashes, then restarts. I tried everything from turning off the automatic restart, and replacing my psu. Nothing seems to work. I also put in a different video card and it hasnt crashed yet so im assuming its the 290? But i cant return it since im past my 30 day limit so any other suggestions? Thank you.

I also checked my temps but nothing seems to be overheating so it isnt a heating issue

It seems you have already found the problem, but do not want to accept that.

Most video cards have at least a 1 year warranty. Use it.
