PC keeps freezing after I installed my Athlon 880k

Hello so a few days ago I bought a new CPU I was upgrading from a AMD A4 6300 to a Athlon 880k and when i boot up my PC it freezes and sometimes I make it 5-10 minutes after signing in.

I am not sure if it is a bios update I need to do or what but if anyone could provide possible issues.

Current rig
Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 motherboard
GTX 1050 ti
16GB of DDR3 ram
(Of the top of my head as when writing this I am not currently at my PC) 500 or 550 PSU
Athlon 880k quad core(trying to put into my rig)

Can you please list your full system's specs inclusive of your OS? List them as:

Speaking of BIOS, which BIOS revision are you on currently? According to Gigabyte's CPU support list, you're going to need at least a BIOS F3d.

Is your BIOS version F3d? It's the only version that supports the Godavari processors. http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-F2A78M-HD2-rev-30#support-dl (expand BIOS+3).
