PC keeps freezing

It works fine for multiple hours but sometimes starts to freeze completely for no reason. It works fine for a few minutes but then freezes again and I have to restart my PC all over again. It can't be because of overheating since I have plenty of cooling and I'm not overclocking. I can't do anything and the only way to fix it is to turn the PC on and off. Which doesn't fix the problem since it keeps happening. (Tried to post this already, but couldn't since the computer froze. Only had 2 Chrome tabs open.) I opened 3 games at the same time CPU was at 100% but never went over 50 degrees, and the GPU was at around 90% and between 60-65 degrees so it can't be because of overheating, so the only reason I can think of is that the SSD randomly stops working which crashes windows, but how can I fix that. It only started happening recently but I've had the computer for over a year now.
CPU: i5-6600
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB

Solution
Hi,

I had the same issue with a computer .

Google chrome is infected.

Here what I did to repair : go to bleepingcomputer.com.
Download and run rkill => JRT => roguekiller => adwcleaner. but don't reboot.

Remove google chrome => then reboot.
Download ccleaner and cleanup registry (do a backup when prompt)

Reinstall google chrome.
Let me know if it helps
