So my PC keeps going to a black screen when i try to play a game but today it did that when i was just watching Youtube. Whenever it does this i can still hear the game audio/video in the background so i have to restart PC manually. Also sometimes when i need to restart i have to reinstall AMD drivers since they have disappeared and PC doesn't recognize GPU. When it does that my GPU and CPU temps are normal so it's not overheating.

PC Specs
CPU: Ryzen 5800X
GPU: 6700 XT
RAM: 32GB
PSU: 750w

Try underclock the card as I've suggested here, https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...creens-whilst-playing-specific-games.3878361/

If that doesn't work, try an older driver, maybe try older driver first before underclocking. Up to you.

If both suggestions fail, what psu make and model is that? Perhaps it's not up to task now, hard to say, but if it's a junk unit, well, it's susceptible to the cause. Or the graphics card may be dying, or possibly video cable is on the fritz. Things to try if you have someone who can lend parts, graphics card, video cable etc / or try graphics card on their PC.

PSU is Corsair RM750x

Doesn't seem to work but my GPU VRAM clock speed is at constant 1988 mhz when idle, is that normal?

Alright, I got it fixed. I actually hate how simple it was. It was so simple that mu next GPU will definitely not be AMD.

PC kept going black screen even when i connected my 2nd monitor but now it's fine. I have been playing videos on 2nd monitor and gaming on main one for an hour now and no black screen.
The fix was to rollback AMD drivers to previous version.
