Question PC keeps locking during games - hard crashes

Hi,

Really hoping someone can help narrow down this issue I've been having this issue recently where PC keeps locking up during games, in particular Apex Legends, the game will freeze and then my computer will restart - no blue screen.

I keep getting random blue screens when clicking shutdown also, but it's not clear, it looks pixelated / all messed up etc.

My system:

Windows 11
AMD 5800x
AMD 6800XT reference card
MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI
32GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB PRO Black, PC4-28800 (3600) (4 Sticks)
EVGA SuperNova 1000W, Full Modular, 80 PLUS Platinum PSU - Got it in 2014.
m2 harddrive, bunch of other harddrives

No CPU / GPU overclocks, RAM is on XMP2 from CPU, I thought swapping from XMP1 resolved the crashes, but it hasn't.

Have run windows harddrive checks as well as memory diagnostics, neither returned any issues.

BIOS updated quite recently, same with drivers, AMD GPU drivers on latest etc (installed after running DDU).

I run latest hwinfo and latest rivatuner when playing games.

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age.

BIOS updated quite recently
Did you make sure to clear the CMOS after you've verified that the BIOS was successfully flashed to the latest version?

Sorry, it's an EVGA SuperNova 1000W, Full Modular, 80 PLUS Platinum PSU - I got it in 2014.
