My PC keeps restarting but it seems like the power goes out then comes back on (the power is fine triple checked) only when I am playing Fortnite. Any ideas why this might be?

i7 7700K
1060 MSI
Liquid Cooling so I doubt its overheating
Maybe the PSU is faulty already? would suck but that's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head

Any help is appreciated.

Certainly substituting a known good PSU of sufficient wattage would eliminate an obvious #1 suspect....

Although many folks are happy with 430-450 watt PSUs for single mid-range GPUs , I generally start my searching for brand-name/quality PSUs in about the 600-650 watt range.(In case you wish to upgrade from a GTX1060 to a GTX1180 in July, etc..)

I currently have the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2 and I use dual monitors 144hz and a Ducky One TKL RGB board if that matters at all.. is 650 not enough or did it just go faulty possibly?

So I been messing around with the settings on Fortnite and if I change the video setting for post-processing to epic and hit apply it will immediately restart my PC. Also it just ends randomly at times any idea what would cause this?

how can I test it? I don't have a spare PSU to throw in it. getting a 850w g3 evga hopefully it fixes
