Hi!

As the thread title suggests, im having trouble with my pc keeps restarting whilst gaming and i dont know why. (Temps are normal)
People suggest it might be PSU issues but i checked with HWinfo and i dont see any problem? Or maybe someone can help me read my log that would be helpful. (Last line is before my PC restarts itself)
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FWD2ZUSlAG1SHRx39hF_WA82DgQmAjLC7nluY5D0YeA/edit?usp=sharing

So far i have tried:
  • Updating BIOS to the latest version
  • Updating and reinstalling graphics card drivers
  • Disabling XMP
  • Removing OC
  • Undervolting my GPU
  • Reducing my board power

This start happening a few days ago but i didnt change anything on my setup.

This is my setup:

MBD: ASRock B450 Pro4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: Sapphire Nitro AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT
RAM: Viper Steel DDR4 3200MHz
PSU: NZXT C650 Gold

Thanks!

NZXT C650 Gold
their C series is fairly high rated.
and the highest recommended wattage for the RX 6650 XT is ~600w.

you should be good at that aspect as long as this unit isn't just getting old in the tooth.
how long has it been in use?
updated and reinstalled graphic card drivers
you may want to try completely removing all graphics related data with DDU.
then reinstall the latest package available directly from AMD.
pc keeps restarting while playing games and i dont know why. (Temps are normal)
what do you consider, "normal"?
and what are you using to watch live temperatures up until the restart happens?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

So far i have updated my BIOS to the latest version
Did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS was flashed to the latest version?

disable XMP
It should be enabled or at the very least, manually input frequency, timings and voltages for the ram kit.

How old is the PSU un you build?
Oh yeah, i havent try to clear my CMOS, might try doing that hope it works.

I put my RAM on Auto

My PSU is 2 years old

I always uninstall using amdcleanuputility. Does it not work the same or do i need to use DDU?

Im using both my AMD Adrenaline and HWInfo to watch live temperatures. It stayed between 60 to 70

DDU has the option to remove ALL graphics related data when run from Windows Safe Mode.

the AMD utility just runs their default software uninstaller and resets any AMD profiles to default.
leaves system drivers and other related data behind.
I see.

Then for now i will try to reinstall my graphic drivers and try to restart CMOS battery.

Will update later if it works or not

Thanks for the help so far!
