Hello,

When I play games on my PC my PC will sometimes restart, it has only just started doing it, it was built in February of this year.

GTX 770
I5 4670k @ 4.2
8GB Ram
1x3tb Seagate HDD
1x500gb Segate HDD
Gigabyte Z87 Sniper MB

So far, it has only reset it self when playing games and I see no crash dumps either.

Edit: I idle at 20-25c and at load it's 40-50c so it's not overheating.

All my drivers are up to date.

Can a 550W Gold Corsair RM PSU not support what I have? Would a 650W Bronze XFX be better?

When I try the Valley benchmark my PC shuts down and takes a minute or so before it comes back on.

Edit: No BSO it just shuts down completely.

somethings rotten in denmark. that stinks like a hardware problem stinks, for sure. really, it sounds like a component is overheating...but the temps youve listed are perfectly fine.
im not a big fan of that rm550 youre using but it wouldnt be right to call it a bad unit. certainly should be fine for that rig.
have you checked the mobo heatsinks? vrm's and the like. could maybe be the problem.

are your bios settings good? nothing running crazy volts?

if you already have that 650w xfx unit, give it a try. this issue sounds like the result of an overheating psu, and theres always the chance you got a dud from the factory.
