HEY GUYS! There's this thing that came up recently with my PC. Once I would turn it on, it'd run for a couple of seconds and then shut off, and then it'd turn on again and it would keep going on and on without any progress to boot up. I thought of two things at first probably a failing 5yr old PSU or a short. I checked the MB for any sources of a short but none found. I also bought a new PSU because I was advised from this forum that it was a PSU problem. The problem persisted though so I decided to test my RAM sticks. I currently have 1 2GB and 1 4GB RAM attached. If both are on, the restarting problem happens. If I remove one stick and leave either the 4 or the 2 GB on it'd boot up. Is there anything I could do to have both of them at the same time without the restarting problem.

Sounds like your mainboard doesnt like having 2 different sized RAM sticks. I honestly dont know if any mainboards likes that. I have never seen someone try it.
So if you can, use 2 RAM sticks of the same type. That includes brand and model.

Its kinda weird coz I've been using these same two sticks for as long as I can remember. My motherboard is fairly new btw. Its probably 3-4months old.
