For some time my pc keeps shutting down randomly for some reason and i don't know why .
My rig :
i5-3570k 3.4GHz
Gtx650 ti boost oc 2gb
8gb ram
500gb hdd
psu 650w ( Element smart)

I went to a pc store and asked them to check my pc , they said they didn't found nothing in the pc it ran smoothly all day .
But now for some reason it crashed again i checked my cables , my gpu drivers and that's it .
Any suggestions on what should i do more . Is there any fixes .

Most of the time crashed accrue when playing games , and few times when surfing facebook and etc .

Solution
Boot from your Windows disk then run the memory test. If the machine can make repeated, successful passes, that eliminates the memory.

Odds are the tech(s) at the store fired it up, ran a few basic tests, then left it running without actively using it the remainder of its time in the shop. Hence, no problems were found.

A potential solution would be to install the GPU in another system and test it with the game that caused your PC to crash most frequently.

Another potential solution would require a spare HDD or a large-capacity flash drive. You could try a fresh OS install to one of them and booting from it to see if the issue still occurs. (After lots of updating, of course...) If there's no problem, then it's an issue within...

(After lots of updating, of course...) If there's no problem, then it's an issue within Windows. If it still occurs, it's a hardware issue, and I would suspect the cause would either be the power supply or the GPU. Yes, this is a time-consuming potential solution, but it can help narrow things down.

You could try another power supply. I suggest it last because disconnecting and removing the PSU, then installing and connecting another one is also quite time consuming.

Lastly, it could be heat-related...

Borrow a friends psu, it seems like you got some poop capacitors. But if you have a friends power supply, try plugging that in and run occt again. Somethings failing i say it's psu, but it could also be gpu related. It stress tests all the parts to make sure theirs no fault in the system. Try swapping psu's if it still crashes its the gpu. If it doens't crash its the power supply unit, replace that asap. I recommend a seasonic or silverstone some rosewell, antec makes good ones too. Look up reviews to make sure you're getting quality parts on any psu you end up choosing. Because, that is the last thing you want to fail.

Here is a Seasonic PSU for $55 USD 520watt 40A on the 12v rail, well known brand http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094

The CS450M is damn good unit as well, though if you plan to OC, stay away from the Corsair CX models, the CX models tent to have a pre mature death when pushed close to max, and my personal preference stay away from Thermaltake as well.

If none are available where you live, let us know!

I suggest that you make a new Thread so more people are able to help you.

If you PC turns off when the Microwave is on, it may be an issues with the wiring in your home, the breaker may new be able to put out enough amps and your PC is just pushing it over the edge. A Microwave should be on a 20amp breaker with 12gauge wire so it can't blow the breaker if you happen to turn something else on.

Now for the PSU being damaged, dose it do it when the microwave is off now? If so unplug the PSU from the wall for about 60 sec and hold down the power button, you may see the fans and lights turn on foe a sec then turn off, its draining the power from the PSU. Plug it is and see if it fixes it. Also Try another outlet, you could have an issue with that outlet as well.
