hi, my specs are asus m5a97 r2.0,amd fx 4130,16 gb of ram,1000 psu, geforce gtx 660 sc,no matter what game i play on any settings my pc restartswhen im playing, ive tried with windows 8.1,8,an now im using 7 ult, somtimes it tells me that my drivers have stoped working(dirextx) anny one know what to do or how to go about fixing???

What is the brand and model of the "1000W" PSU?

Is the shutdown immediate, or does it happen after some period of time? If the later, something might be overheating, possibly the VRMs on your motherboard. Make sure you have good airflow through your case.

sometimes it restarts an some times the screen goes black for a minute than goes back to normal an then i continu playing my game,an it vareys, sometimes happens after 10 minutes sometimes after 30,my cpu is liquid cooled ,an i have 5 fans not including the 2 fans on the radeator
the psu is (coolmax zu series 1000w

Since it recovers and continues, it is probably a driver issue. Did you have a different card before you got the GTX660? If so, you may have left some driver pieces behind. Use a program like CCleaner to remove all of your old video drivers. Then uninstall your current drivers. Reboot, then get the latest GeForce drivers from nVidia.com and install those.

First you don't' need to keep posting every few minutes (bumping your post) this is very much frown upon and we are doing this as a courtesy, not 'on demand' help service.

Second your idle temps are nice, but you have a VERY bad increase in temps, your tripling the heat on the card before it suddenly crashes in game. To me this highly suspects either the cooling for it isn't sufficient or the card itself is defective.

Third your not OCing the card are you? If so, go to stock and try again, does it stop crashing now? If so then the OCing your trying is not correct and either do NOT OC or reduce the OC till you hit the 'safe zone'.

Fourth I would try uninstalling NVidia, then download and really remove with Driver Fusion or the older Driver Sweeper all of the NVidia 'code' still in the system before reboot. Then download the newest driver (just out last week).

If clearing the driver doesn't resolve it (keeping in mind it might be heat), the other 'software' to make sure we have a 'base known working system' would be:

Open Computer, Can Air dust out the bunnies and use paint brush on the vents, coolers, fans, etc.
Download and run SPECCY, copy and paste the first tab to show your idle temps
Download and run MSI Afterburner, run some of the games that crash, what temps are you getting when underload?

Did you install ALL Windows Updates Including OPTIONALs except BING? Check them and repeat till ALL are installed.

Download and run Slim Drivers, it seems to find all sorts of ones in the background people may not realize, install all the latest updates but you don't need to reboot until you do the last update

Remove whatever AV your using and go to www.filehippo.com and download AVAST! or AVG and do a full system scan - this repeatedly has resolved alot of people issue relying on MS Essentials.
Download Malwarebytes do a full system scan (AV doesn't pick up alot of malware) - this resolved almost ALL other similiar posts to date as most had Malware the AV didn't pick up.
Repeat the AV/Malware scans till the system comes up clean.
