Hope this is right place to post. Otherwise delete or move.
So i cleaned my pc earlier today and changed my cpu thermal paste and after i put my cpu fan "back" i notice that my cpu fan pins werent completly in. Not sure if it was 1 or 2. But now that start my pc it just keeps shutting off and starts by itself. Its on for about 10 seconds and The shutting down by itself. So i Wonder if its The CPU fan being loss that's causing this and overheats The cpu? NOTE: i only touched a few wire to see if it was all plugged in and checka if all The fans were working and they do. Would apprecite any help so i know if i need a new cooler. Intel stock btw. So nothing gucci

If the fans are indeed running the connections are likely okay.

I would be more concerned about the CPU thermal paste.

Overall, if there is a problem with either the paste and/or its application the PC will immediately shutdown due to the CPU overheating.

The heat will build up way to fast for the fans to catch up.
