Question PC keeps shutting off whenever I put it to sleep

I put my PC in sleep mode before I went somewhere else. I came back 10 minutes later to see that the PC shut off and it took longer than usual to log in. As well as that none of the programs I had turned on before stayed turned on. When I put it to sleep after that it gives a black screen and doesn't accept any inputs but the fan stays on and the PC is shown to not be in sleep mode, it shuts down over 5 minutes later. I have checked already whether or not it is a power option but I have it set to high performance. Please help. Last time I fixed it by turning it off and on again but clearly it happened to only be a temporary fix. I tried looking online but no one seems to have had the same issue as me.

What are details of the PC? is it a brand name or custom? If brand name, what make/model? If custom, what motherboard?

Its likely a driver that needs to be updated.
