So once I click the power button my PC needs 3 attempts to start and the BIOS always gets reset.
Once it's fully powered on I have no problems until the next day when I power it up again.
Any ideas?
Have a i5 9600k on a asus rog board with 32gb xpg ram, and a gigabyte 3060 with a Thermaltake 700w powersupply
Should be 4-5 years old.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (orginal to build, new, refurbished, used)?

For the most part, I would suspect the PSU.

Requires a few attempts and warms up in the process. Expansion somewhere and full contact is made.

Likely something loose. Where that is being the question....

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust & debris.

Verify by sight & feel that all cards, connectors, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

Inspect for signs of damage. Swap in a new CMOS battery just as a matter of elimination.
