I recently built a my own computer. It functioned normally for two days however since yesterday whenever I played a game ran 3D mark or watched a HD video for more than 5 minutes my computer turned off. Yesterday when this happened I couldn't turn it on immediately, I waited 3 hrs before I could turn it back on. Today when this issue occurred I could boot my computer immediately after it shut down, I checked the temps and the CPU was at 35 degrees Celsius and the GPU was at 29 degrees Celsius. I think it may be the PSU. Does anyone have an idea of what it really is or how to fix the problem?

PC Specs:
FX 8320
CM Hyper 212 Evo
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
8GB 1866MHz Kingston Hyper X Fury
MSI Gaming R9 285 2GB
Corsair CX750M

There are 3 possibilities:
1) You have static electricity and need to discharge it. You were probably putting it together while wearing synthetic clothing.
2) The power supply could be faulty. It is unfortunate that Gigabyte is built to be sturdy but not very full of sensory equipment, you would immediately get a warning about an unstable power supply.
3) One of the components you put in doesn't sit well in its mount and is a bit wobbly. Inspect the bowels of your computer.

@BigBadBeef
I used an anti-static wrist strap while working on an anti-static mat which were both grounded, I was wearing cotton can that affect it? All the parts are secure. Yes, I believe it may be the PSU, thanks.

@alexoiu Cheers I'll look into RMA-ing it.
