Pc lag issues

Hi I had recently downgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 7 pro and my games lag terribly As well as programs even simple games like bloody roar 2, I have downloaded all the latest drivers but nothing works
Specs
Intel core i3 5005 @2.
4gb ram
64 bit

Download HWInfo, and start logging the CPU, RAM, GPU usage and temps. If temps fine, and CPU and GPU are not maxing out at 100%, then look to the storage. Look at HDD activity or perhaps usage. If the disk is filling up, or the swapfile is getting used a lot etc.

I actually used Dell's preboot system assestment after seeing my cpu was rated at 2.9. When the tests reached cpu fan it had an error saying it was spinning to fast n overheating so I removed the back n cleaned out the cpu fan also switched the ram to another slot and problem solved the cpu is now rated at 6.9 n everything is running pretty darn good
