[SOLVED] Pc laptop info on a part

Interesting thing is that on the next model, the 1040, they removed that piece from the motherboard design. So I think it's not a vital component, it's there for cosmetic appearance (to guide the curved pipes).

@Ivt Thanks for your answer , i'll upload another picture to see more clearly the point of view

This is the part on top where you put the 5nd screw , and you have to put it before/under the motherboard to be able to screw the 5nd vis.

Yeah this is what i was thinking too , but then , after trying without it , you end up with 4 screws at the back , and if you flip the screen to the other side, like a tablet , it open a little bit the plate on the back.

So i think if you want it , you have to buy the entire motherboard , wich sucks a little xd

But anyway , i appreciate your expertise and help on the subject ! =) thank you
