[SOLVED] PC limit to 30 FPS with 2 GPUs. No problem with just one.

Hi people.

I've been with this problem for months and I'm pretty desperate ...

I have 2 graphics cards, one 1070 and one 1080. For gaming I use the 1080, connected to the gaming monitor where I play, and the 1070 is connected to other monitors, used for example like resources monitor (rainmeter), or for look internet while I'm in the lobby for example.

The problem is that with this configuration, the games do not exceed 30 FPS (PUBG, FAR CRY 5 from UBI, Forza Horizon 4 ...). I put this to make it clear that it is not only with steam games. But if I go to Device Manager and disable the 1070, the FPS are already without problem.

I have uninstalled Afterburner, disabled VSync, changed the Phsyx from the Nvidia control panel to 1080 (which was 1070 by default). I've also tried to uninstall the Nvidia control panel itself. I have updated drivers with GeForce Experience ....

Another thing I have observed is that being in a game at 30 FPS, if I press "Win + G" and the XBOX Game Bar opens, it goes up to 60 FPS, but as soon as I close it they go down again.

I've also tried something like create a regedit entry from GameDVR or something like that, but it didn't work ... And every time I make a change, I reboot.

It happens to me for a long time but I thought that formatting would fix it. But I just did it and the problem continues.

PS: I just did the test to close everything related to the Rainmeter, that is, the Rainmeter itself, the HWinfo64 and the CoreTemp. And something very strange has happened. It has limited the games to 50 FPS (Normally the FAR CRY 5 is around 75 and PUBG is around 100). I don't really understand anything ...

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thank you very much.

This setup is really not advised. While it is possible to run dual cards like this it offers more in complications and weird performance issues as you are experiencing then an real advantage. The amount of GPU power it takes to run a second monitor for resource monitoring, internet etc is inconsequential to overall performance.

I use the number 1 just to play.
The number 2 is for rainmeter. I see this --> View: https://imgur.com/bD2YvpR

The number 3 is for web browsing while I'm in lobby, for example.
The number 4 is in front of my bed so it's off whem I'm playing.

Apart of this, I have 2 other TVs in other rooms and the oculus Rift CV1, but those are disconected if I'm not using this.

So will I have to be disabling the 1070 each time I wan´t to play?

I fear so. Nvidia only approved matched models for multigpu setups.
