So my PC just freezes whenever I play games, and it occurs randomly. Whenever it locks up, the screen just freezes, mouse and keyboard controls don't work, audio seems to stay static, the LEDs of my case fans are still on. But I have to reset it by pressing the reset button on my case. After the restart, the pc either boots normally into windows or it shows no display signal on my monitor This problem has eventually extended that my pc won't boot at all, my monitor just shows no display signal at all, however the LEDs of my case fans are still on.

Here is my rig specs:
CPU: intel core i7 4790 @3.6 GHz
Motherboard: As Rock B85m pro 4 micro atx
RAM: Kingston hyper X DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 mini
PSU: Antec Neo Eco 520-C
SSD: Adata SP550 240GB
HDDx2: WD Blue 7200 RPM
OS: Windows 10 Home edition

This rig has followed me for five years and the above issues have only started in recent year or so. So i took my pc to a repair shop and the guy said it was a "motherboard issue" and said he fixed it. At first my pc worked just fine, then after 2 weeks the lock-ups and freezes came back and eventually the pc won't start up normally. When I leave it alone for 20+ minutes it boots back up with a display signal.

Eventually I removed what my friend suggested as a faulty hard drive. See one of my WD hard drives used to be my old boot drives before I got my SSD and after I got it, I didn't do a proper formatting and kept on making partitions. After removing that hard drive, the pc showed no locking up or freezing, so after asking my friend to format it, I decided to reuse that same HDD, which had the same partitions, but it could not be merged and after messing with it in disk manager, I could not merge the volumes together and just dismissed it as some error that wasn't significant. I later ran a cmd disk list and showed that the partition was healthy.

I read other forum posts detailing various tests, my cpu passed the intel diagnostics test; my ram has passed the memtest86 test. But other than that, I know of no method to test my psu, my hard drive, nor my gpu, or any method to diagnose what's going wrong with my pc, can anyone please help?

Take a look at Event Viewer and Reliability History/Monitor.

There should be some error codes or warnings that correspond is the freezes being experienced by your system.

My immediate thought is that the PSU may no longer be fully capable of supporting the power demands of your system.

To test PSU:

If necessary get a knowledgeable family member or friend to help.

I got an event 41 (63) kernal power issue. I updated my BIOS, updated my motherboard drivers and my graphics driver. I have no idea whether it is a driver issue or hardware one, because the drivers available on the motherboard website is very very old, from 2016 and 2015. So even if it is a software/driver issue, I have no idea how to fix it, same goes for my PSU since I dont have a multimeter at home, this is really frustrating.
