PC Locks when it come to certain file - can't delete

Hello,
I'm having various problems but have found that a certain file locks up various scans and would like to delete it. BUT everytime I search for it the computer locks up when I find it.

Any way to delete it OR other ideas?

can you see the file when you enter in safe mode and delete it?

can you back up all the files you have on a removable disk or other hdd and format the disk with the file on?

Run scandisk or chkdsk on the hdd that has the file. This should solve your problem
