So,

When I boot my PC i get on the loading screen that it is scanning and repairing disk.

When it finally loads windows which takes forever it will not show my hdd.

my windows is on ssd so dont know why its so slow.

If i plug out my hdd then it boots alot faster,

How can i get this fixed

any help?

Just to let anyone know who may see this with same problem,

I fixed it by booting my pc with it not plugged in.I then connected sata and power and refreshed the drives from the harddrive partitioning screen. That made my HDD be recognized.I then used CMD and used the chkdsk command and pointed it towards my drive.5 hours of scanning later I could get into the hdd and working fine again.

how do i go about doing that when my hdd cannot be connected? For it to work now i need to plug it out.

SO both drives are showing in the device manager, when i go to this PC it also shows both but my hdd was called 2tb and now is called local disk the same as my other drive but its drive D: and also says nothing about how much space is left.when i click into it wont load anything and things start to freeze.
