Hey guys, I recently bought a new PC that I've been excited for months to receive, only to find Overwatch is nearly unplayable on it due to lag/packet loss (I think?) that I'm experiencing. I've counted it out and on the dot every 5 seconds everything will freeze, I'll miss everything that's happened for 1-2 seconds, and things will fast forward to where they were when I was frozen.
My ping has always remained relatively low, rarely going any higher than 30ms, but when I click control+shift+n to see what's going on in-game, you can visibily see large spikes every 5 seconds at the exact moments I'm experiencing this freezing/skipping yet the ping won't move whatsoever during this. Another thing I found odd is that I own Overwatch on Ps4 and next to never, after months of play, have had lag issues. Why could this be happening only on my PC? My internet is far from great, but if there's anything I can do to try to fix this issue myself before calling the net providers, I'd love to try.
