Alright so like the title says, my PC is making this strange noise recently. Its running just fine, which is odd because it sounds like a failing hard drive, but multiple PC tests come up that the hard drive is in good health. Anyways, here is a video recording of the sound.

So I was wondering what else this could be, or can you confirm that this sounds like a failing hard drive despite me being able to currently use the PC just fine. Do you think I should pick up a new hard drive during black friday and start cloning my drive over?

I was considering getting a hybrid 1TB, do you think its worth it at this point or should I just stick to the mechanical one. Heres my PC Build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wqkp99
Hoping to find a compatible hard drive for it.

Solution
Look for videos regarding fan maintenance, usually dismount it, disarm it, clean it and then apply some oil in it's axis before reassembling it.

Tried this, turns out is the front fan. Which seems to have a protect case surrounding it, I was able to get my finger in there and just stop it for a second and the noise stopped. Now I gotta figure out how to fix whatever causing the noise from the fan.

Some oil did the trick. I tried just cleaning a bit of the dust at first but that didn't work. Ah, so nice to have a smooth sounding PC again. Thanks again for the tips.
