whenever i like start up black ops 3 my pc makes a weird noise i think it is my graphics card or my proccesor i have a i7-6700 3.4ghz and a gtx 1060 6gb is this normal???
it sounds like there is a disk that runs all the time and then hangs on but when the game is started I do not hear anything but when I load map from the game myself I hear it again

So what investigation have you done on this?
Download and install the diagnostic tool from the hard drive manufacturer.
See what it says.

its most likely your hard disk. you can download and run this tool to do a quick health check. see if there are any warnings alerted.

you can also run a "chkdsk /f /x" in the command console to correct some files. you can do a "/r" as well which is a more thorough check and will attempt to fix bad sectors. you can run it if you want. alternatively, you can install EaseUS/Minitool partition master. and run a Surface Test but this will take 2~4 hours depending on the size of your disk. this method is considered safer for your files in the bad sector compared to chkdsk in theory.
