If these charts are true, AMD is only 2% and 3% behind NVIDIA in shipped GPU units.

Which means steam is full of Horse Manure. Or this research article is full of manure. I more believe the later as such information is held closely to the chest by MFG. They only have to report monetary numbers.

Remember AMD APUs get counted in this... just like the intel iGPUs.

For discrete GPUs only... in Q2 2023 it was 87% NVIDIA, 10% AMD and 3% Intel. NVIDIA is still massively ahead.

With all the ramping up of chip fabs and other related AI tech, I wonder if market saturation will come back to bite any manufacturers.

And what happens when quantum machines come of age? It seems that everyone's going all in on the latest thing, which changes almost every month.
