Hello everyone. I have a PC, not main pc but alt or what do we call them(second, 3rd, 4th or so on)

I put it together from all working parts, old but functional. Old gpu i used, new PSU, old Hdds(125 and 500 gb), old MB, old CPU, old ram's. All these parts were 100% functional, and are now it seems. They became old because i simply bought new ones.

Now to the problem. My pc, that pc, gets some random freezes from time to time. Lets say i play a game, and everything is fine, then out of nowhere it appears. My pc gets few of these freezes, which lasts about 1 second each. 1 sec freeze, 1 second unfreeze, half second freez, 1 second unfreeze or so. Like fps is low. But everything is freezing, mouse, sound(not always), picture/video.
Or when i open, lets say, Chrome(happens, not always but it happens)

I think its because of the hdd, but im not sure. I would like some suggestions before i start with this. Maybe someone had this problem before.

Instead of leaving a lot to assumptions and hypothesis, can you please state the following...?
List your culprit systems specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

What games are you taxing the system with? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Instead of saying, let's say, i's best if you gave us a list of all the apps that you've opened up to encounter the issue. Please, don't include an etc. at the end of the sentences since it leaves a lot more to assume other titles/app's.

Im sorry for your bad day. We all have them.

Anyways, i knew i forgot something.

MB: P5P41D
PSU : Cooler master 600w
GPU: ATI radeon hd 5800
Ram: 1 corsair(1gb DS) ; 2 x hynix 1gb (SS) 5300U 555 12
CPU: Intel core duo e7500 2.9
HDD: MAXTOR 6L160M0 ATA (System); WDC WD5000AAKS_07YGA0 ATA
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Bios is updated, Windows is fresh instal last night. So no programs at all, it simply started freezing after first boot(No drivers, no programs, no games). This morning my wife instaled World of Tanks, drivers, and its like the last night. Still freezing.

For anyone who ended up on this Thread, and got the same problem. Its up to your Hdd. Seems it was damaged or something, it didnt read good. We changed it few days ago(put in SSD) and it now runs like a clock.
