PC monitor black screens when gaming

Hello, so I recently upgraded my GTX 1050 2GB graphics card to a GTX 1070Ti 8GB, and my i3-6100 Dual Core Processor to an i7-7700k Quad Core.

After upgrading, my PC constantly crashes while playing games. At a random time while playing a game, my PC's display will go completely black, my PC's fans will begin to spin faster than normal, and if any audio is playing, it will stutter until I force shut down my PC. I work around this by setting my max frame rate in games very low, which is somewhat annoying, but it works. After dodging this problem for so long, it's now at the point where my PC won't even turn on. When I press the power button, it lights up for a split second then immediately turns off. None of these problems occurred before I upgraded, which is even more confusing and brings me to believe there's a problem with one of my parts. I have upgraded to all the latest drivers, ran virus scans, looked online, and even done a clean reinstall of my graphic drivers, but nothing seems to be working. If anyone might know the reason for this, it would help me out a lot.
