PC monitor display turns off and on

hello

i am using HP 2311f monitor, while reading text content, nothing happens but when i try to see the images or videos the screen display turns on and off continuously for every 4-5 seconds. but the power light is still blue/green, not in a sleep mode. what could be problem. it happen also when i try to play online games and wtach videos online, but while reading text content it is stable. mail me at [removed by moderator], thanks in advance

I think the problem is with your GPU or other internal component, not the monitor.

still try another monitor for testing purposes to confirm it is not a monitor issue.
