So I have 2 PCs, one is old but works all the time, never crashes never broke worked fine, but is old. The other PC is from a friend but It has a problem.
The problem is that the PC monitor goes full black when playing some games (full black screen, PC still running and everything but no sound no video no nothing, imagine if someone just unplugged everything except power to PC, RBG working and all)

Primarily the Red Dead 2, I can play it either for 2min before the PC goes full black (only restart will get it back to work) or I can play for hours and then it goes full black. Also, one of my sister's games (low graphics) causes the crash almost every time within 20min. And one more random thing, Red Dead 2 crashed exactly when i was about to save...

Changing the graphic card (took it from a PC that always works) actually helped in a way that the PC doesn't go full black but crashes the game, which never happened before. I am starting to believe it's the motherboard, not the graphics card, but then again if you don't play games the PC works just fine. I've had Blue Screen of Death once but I connected it to many reboots I've done to it.

PSU: I don't really think is the problem, it's Seasonic 850W 80+ gold so the last resort is the motherboard or CPU, but for the CPU I got hard vouched that it is working fine and it's not the CPU.

I've stress-tested GPU, it worked fine with no errors, temps is max 75C, CPU I didn't stress test, I've stress-tested RAM as well (lol)

Today I'll plug Grapich card into my old PC that worked fine and see what's going on, but regardless does anyone have solutions or something I could check to see whats going on?

Specs

PSU- seasonic focus 850W 80+ gold
Motherboard- gigabyte x470 AORUS ULTRA
GPU- ASUS RX 64 vega
RAM- G SKILL 16gb (2x8gb)
CPU- AMD 7 2700x

P.S sorry for grammar errors

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

GPU- ASUS RX 64 vega
Did you try and swap over another known working GPU into your friends build?
+
PSU- seasonic focus 850W 80+ gold
How old is the PSU in the build? If you want to rule the PSU out as the root cause, swap over another known working, reliably built PSU into the system and see if the issue persists.

Motherboard- gigabyte x470 AORUS ULTRA
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Thank you for warm welcome :)

Yes I’ve swapped the GPU and it kinda helped, the PC isnt going full black but it just crashes the game (sometimes) and its hard to start a game, like it will crash/refuse to start which never happened before. The GPU is 1050ti so way weaker.

The whole build is 5years together with PSU.

I dont know what bios its running, but i updated almost everything possible
