Question PC monitor sometimes starts in VGA mode

PC monitor sometimes starts in VGA mode, I assume that’s what it’s called, everything on screen super big.
if I turn the monitor off and on again at the socket it’s ok. Reinstalled graphic card and monitor drivers but didn’t help.

any thoughts please ?
