pc monitor turning different colors

i just bought a gaming rig from my cousin, and it has a freshly installed video card, and windows 7. ive been playing on it for 2 weeks now with no problems. and i changed rooms recently and plugged my pc in to play on it. it boots up and i log in, it gets on the desktop page, so i wait for everything to load, then boom. the screen turns all different colors like the pixels. a bunch of little squares pink/red/purple etc. please help! would like to get on it again!. i have changed monitors and it did not help.

may help if connect monitor to motherboard on board gpu.

well, i took the gtx 750 out of it, and installed a gt 520 for testing, and the computer works fine. i put the gtx 750 in my other gaming rig, and it works in it. so im not sure what it was, buts its working now.
