Question Pc motherboard and front audio jacks do not function

they worked for about a day then stopped ive tried everything form resetting windows to checking that the hd audio cable is connected and playback settings and installing realtek and mobo audio drivers its also weird that the built-in motherboard audio ports don't work. in the audio option drop-down only spdif and nvidia and realtek show up not the headset i have tried multiple.

i7 2600s
b75m plus lga 1155 mobo
16gb ram
gtx 780
120gb ssd
1tb hdd

Very possible but not common that the onboard audio would die this would result in the front panel not working also.

Did you download the audio driver from the motherboard manufactures site?
