Hello,

I have installed a new cpu yesterday. My PC worked perfectly fine. However i tried to boot it up today, it does not boot up anymore.
I tried other RAM sticks , tried changing the Power supply + cables and tried the old cpu back. The motherboard lights do activate, however it does not boot up.

Is there something else i could do?

(here is an picture of of my cpu pins incase it is related)

Verify via the motherboard's User Guide/Manual to verify that the new CPU is supported. Also check the motherboard manufacturer's website for more recent information.

Did you apply thermal paste or pads? If so what was used and how was it applied?

Ensure that the RAM sticks were properly installed. Some motherboards require that the first physically installed RAM stick be placed in a specific slot.

Do you hear any beeps when the PC fails to boot? (You may need to connect a small speaker.) Listen carefully to the beep pattern. Some sequence of long and/or short beeps.

Any LED's lit? If so, which LED's and what color? Any LED's flashing?

Try clearing CMOS by following the procedure provided in the Motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

Double check all connections, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections to ensure that all are correct and fully in place. Again reference the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.
