PC noise, maybe PSU?

PC noise, but not from fans.

Hello fellow tommers, Ive got a weird issue here that I've had since I build my rig (3-4 years now). My pc makes a lot of noise but its not from the cabinet fans, cpu, gpu etc. so I've narrowed it down to being the PSU but I have no way to test it, so I wanted to know what you guys think it could be. I have two corsair bronze psus, a cx 600 and a tx 850 both cheap and both have the same issue, hence my confusion. You can describe the noise as more of a background noise presence, its not loud at all as you only notice its been there when you turn off the pc.
So what do you guys think, should I replace my PSU and which ones do you recommend at a nice price?

What kind of noise are you talking abouit here? Fan noise? Buzzing? Hissing? Elephants?

Stop the fan by poking a Q-tip through the fan grill and see if it is in fact the PSU fan.

If it's not the fan, stick your ear right up against the back of the PSU. Is the noise louder there?

The TX isn't "cheap". Just old (discontinued in 2013). Maybe you got it cheap because it's old.

If you have tried both PSUs and you're still hearing the exact same noise regardless of which PSU is used, then it's very unlikely the noise is actually coming from the PSU. The types of fans used in each of them aren't even the same. One is sleeve and the other is DBB.
