Hello,
I built my system about 2 months ago. Everything worked fine.

I had it connected via the remote coming with the fans, because i thought my motherboard had no 5V ARGB connector. I realised that it had one on the bottom and wanted to change the connections that I am able to control the RGB via Software. So i removed the remote, I disconnected the fans cable from the remote and the SATA connection of the remote. I connected the fan cables to the 3-Pin connector Splitter and connected that with the motherboards 5V 3-PIN connector.

Now the motherboard lights turn on when i connect the PC to Power but it doesn't boot. I tried reconnecting the Front panel connections because i thought i might moved them, but that didn't change anything.

I connected the old remote like it was connected before but it didn't change anyting.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

I completely disconnected all of the fan wires and PSU cables and connetected them from scratch. The motherboard lights up as usual but nothing happens if I press the power button. I'm pretty sure that the power button is not the problem as it worked fine before i tried to connect the RGB via the motherboard instead of the remote. I can also confidently say that the RAM is also not the problem, because it worked fine before. I tried resetting the CMOS aswell. But still the mobo lights up, but nothing happens if i press the power button.

Is it possible that i wrecked the motherboard in the process, even though it still lights up? I'm happy for any helpful contributions.
